We specialize in restoring lithographs. Gustavo Perez, has been the restorer of choice by the Andy Warhol Conservancy torestore Warhol’s work for the past several years. This is especially impressive since a Warhol lithograph is created with an unusual technical command.
Paper conservation and the mastery of retouching are critical when restoring quality lithographs. With every lithograph we restore, we aim for nothing less than perfection.
Serigraphs, also commonly known as “silkscreens”, are created through a silkscreening process that uses a different screen for each color applied. This process is famous for producing very opulent, intensely colored artwork.
Most serigraphs are limited edition artworks, making it essential to keep their value in tact. The restorer relies on many disciplines (including perfect color matching, paper restoration, and using an airbrush to flawlessly recreate tone and color) to masterfully restore serigraphs/silkscreens.
